Román F-16 beszerzés

Tegnap újabb két F-16-ossal bővült a Román Légierő...

"The first two F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft from the new group of five that will be part of the Romanian Air Force arrived on Friday, August 14, from Portugal, at the 86th Air Base "Lieutenant Gheorghe Mociorniță", from Borcea.

The next two aircraft will be delivered by the end of this year, and the last, in the first quarter of 2021.

The five aircraft are in M5.2 configuration, as well as the other 12 that are already equipped by the Romanian Army.

The acquisition of five more F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and the related package of goods and services will ensure the increase of Romania's security through the permanent execution of the national / NATO airspace defense, in peacetime and in crisis situations, through the Permanent Combat Service - Air Police (SLP-PA), under NATO command, in accordance with the commitments made."

"August 7, 2020, the collaboration protocol was signed between the Air Force General Staff and S.C. Aerostar S.A., designated as F - 16 aircraft Maintenance Center, thus contributing to the development and continuation of a close collaboration relationship between the national defense industry and the Ministry of National Defense.

SC Aerostar S.A. with a presence of over 60 years on the national territory and a history in cooperation with the Romanian Air Force, by participating in large-scale programs in the field of military aviation, designated F - 16 Aircraft Maintenance Center, ensures the concentration of all necessary resources in one maintenance center on the Romanian territory, both for the regeneration of the resource and for the modernization of the F-16 aircraft.

In the context of granting 2% of the P.I.B. to the budget of the Ministry of National Defense, the strategic vision of the Romanian Government is to reconnect the national defense industry at the pace of technological development necessary to participate with competitive products in the major endowment programs carried out by the Romanian Army."

Most onnan tarolják ki.

Pl. a légkondicionáló rendszerben van-e különbség? Persze a gyakorlati tapasztalat hozhatott változtatásokat.

Felújitják,frissitik a rendszereit.

The ceremony officially marking the completion of the 48th Fighter Squadron's equipping with F-16 aircraft...

"The completion of this modernization phase will soon allow the Romanian Air Force to carry out missions to defend national and allied airspace with three squadrons equipped with F-16 fighter jets deployed on three air bases," Minister Tîlvăr said.

Angel Tîlvăr also showed that the national defense industry is part of this successful program, the modernization of all F-16 aircraft in the Romanian Air Force's equipment to the M6.6 standard will be carried out in the country, at Aerostar Bacău. "It is an important asset for us, which matters not only nationally, but also in our region. And the prospect of equipping with F-35 aircraft will certainly create new opportunities for industrial cooperation for economic operators in our country," the minister said.

At the end of January, an F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, purchased by Romania from the Kingdom of Norway, landed at the 71st Air Base "General Emanoil Ionescu", from Câmpia Turzii, thus completing the 48th Fighter Squadron with all 16 aircraft.

The acquisition of the new batch of F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and the related package of goods and services ensures increased security for Romania by executing the defense of national/NATO airspace, in peacetime and in crisis situations, through the Permanent Combat Service - Air Police (SLP-PA), under national and allied command.

By the end of this year, the reception of the remaining 16 F-16 aircraft is expected, which will become part of the 571st Fighter Squadron, established within the 57th Air Base "Captain Aviator Constantin Cantacuzino" from Mihail Kogălniceanu.
