"On Monday, 21 February 2022, shortly after 3 p.m., an American B-52 Stratofortress bomber landed at the Leoš Janáček Airport in Mosnov. The landing of the American bomber took place within the framework of a training flight of these two strategic bombers over Central and Eastern Europe. The second aircraft continued on its planned route outside the Czech Republic. The training flight served to practice mutual cooperation between the air forces of NATO member states. The aircraft were escorted over the territory of the Czech Republic by JAS-39 Gripen cash aircraft of the 21st Tactical Air Base Čáslav."
