It's quite clear the allied forces are preparing for a large scale Donbas offensive into the rest of Donetsk. The troops movements, the comments by officers on the ground "DPR,LPR and further, it's all Russian!", the political rhetoric at home, the threats, the "We've not even begun our military operation in force yet, the worst is yet to come" comment by Putin, the war economy law being discussed, the shutting off of gas to Europe letter being leaked...
This rapid rise in skirmishes and large scale rocket fire suggests the action is imminent.
I expect a false flag in Crimea or lured in assault(i.e purposefully letting missiles in) moment to happen soon enough so Russia can justify the escalation.
This will be the big one, the summer offensive that pushes all the way west to the Dnieper river and will result in the Phase 1 force rejoining the fight and crossing back into the Ukraine from the east and northeast for a total conquest of the east.
Calm before the summer storm and now with the EU bending the knee to Russia, the outcome has never been so clear.
