"For decades, the Bo 105 was the figurehead of German Army aviation. The helicopter was used in the Bundeswehr as a liaison helicopter and as an antitank helicopter (the PAH 1, the PAH 1 A1). Pilots appreciated its agility, endurance and capacity to fly at low levels. On 13.12.2016, the Bundeswehr took the Bo for its final flight. Eighteen pilots said farewell to their trusty aircrafts with one last formation flight over Celle, Bückeburg and Hanover: an historic and emotional moment for all involved."

Charlie Zimmerman's Fatal Crash
Zimmerman was a highly experienced and talented helicopter stunt pilot, but died when he misjudged his altitude during a display in a Bo-105. RIP.
