The soft-kill system does not deal with the physical destruction of an unmanned aerial vehicle, or a portable anti-tank missile (ATGM) or anti-tank missile, but either its disruption or hiding of the MBT from the threat. This is done by jamming systems or by releasing a curtain. Hard-kill systems such as Trophy fire ammunition against an incoming threat. Poland has installed the Israeli Trophy APS on its K2PL, which currently dominates the market. Their Israeli competitor Iron Fist apparently has a problem with responding to drones for now.
