The Air Force detachment from Turkey has completed its mission in Romania
On Wednesday, March 27, at the 86th Air Base "Lieutenant Aviator Gheorghe Mociorniţă" Borcea, the ceremony of ending the mission of the Turkish Air Force detachment that carried out Reinforced Air Police missions under NATO command in Romania took place.
The activity was carried out in the presence of the Deputy Chief of the Defense Staff, Lieutenant General Dragoş Dumitru Iacob, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Bucharest, Mr. Özgür Kıvanç Altan, the Deputy Commander for Operations of the Turkish Air Force, Major General Kemal Turan, the adviser the Minister of National Defense, Major General Gabriel-Nicuşor Anghel and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Major General Leonard-Gabriel Baraboi.
During the ceremony, as a sign of appreciation for the activity carried out during the execution of the mission, the Deputy Chief of the Defense Staff and the Deputy Chief of the Air Force Staff handed out Emblems of Honor to some members of the Turkish detachment.
