Az biztos, hogy a kulcsszó az a "repülési völgy", amivel egy vállalatba akarják vonni az összes Romániában működő repiparban érintett céget. És ne csak alkatrészeket szállítsanak be menőbb országoknak, akiknek van saját típusuk, hanem fejlesszenek sajátot.
Egy további szereplő a történetben a román kiképzőgép, az IAR-99 gyártója sem tudta megmondani, hogy milyen lenne az a repülőgép, amit a vlachok maguktól megterveznek, ő már annak is örülne, ha a kedvenc IAR-99 modernizálása haladna.

Nekem úgy tűnik, mintha a fő mondat az lenne, hogy Románia gyárt minden faszt repülőgépekhez, csak integrálni kell.

Konkrétan semmit nem gyártanak évtizedek óta. Csau alatt sem gyartottak sajátot, pedig akkor mindenki ehezett, hogy Csau őrülete menjen, de az sosem ment nekik, hnaem licenszet szereztek a franciáktól stb.

The State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Romania of sixteen (16) Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAVs) and related equipment for an estimated cost of $120.5 million. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale today.

The Government of Romania has requested to buy sixteen (16) Assault Amphibious Vehicles (AAVs), Personnel Variant (AAVP-7A1);
three (3) Assault Amphibious Vehicles, Command Variant (AAVC-7Al);
two (2) Assault Amphibious Vehicles, Recovery Variant (AAVR-7Al);

sixteen (16) 50 Cal Machine Guns (Heavy Barrel); and five (5) 7.62 mm M240B Machine Guns.

Also included are MK-19 Grenade Launchers; M36E T1 Thermal Sighting Systems (TSS);

supply support (spare parts); support equipment (including special mission kits/Enhanced Applique Kits (EAAK)); training, unclassified technical manuals, technical data package, engineering and technical support and assistance (including Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS)); and other related elements of program and logistics support. The total estimated program cost is $120.5 million.

This proposed sale will support the foreign policy and national security objectives of the United States by helping to improve the security of a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Ally which is an important force for political and economic stability in Europe. It is vital to the U.S. national interest to assist Romania in developing and maintaining a strong and ready self-defense capability.

The proposed sale will improve Romania’s capability to meet current and future threats by modernizing and ensuring Romania's continued expeditionary capability to counter regional threats. Romania will have no difficulty absorbing this equipment and services into its armed forces.

The proposed sale of this equipment and support will not alter the basic military balance in the region.

A principal contractor has not been determined for potential sale. There are no known offset agreements proposed in connection with this potential sale.

Implementation of this proposed sale will not require the assignment of U.S. Government personnel but will require the assignment of one (1) contractor representative to Romania for approximately one (1) year to deliver AAVs, related equipment, and support.

There will be no adverse impact on U.S. defense readiness as a result of this proposed sale.

This notice of a potential sale is required by law. The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded.

Az kemeny; csak igy tovabb! :D :D
Ez a jargany annyira oreg szar (valami 50+ eves konstrukcio!), hogy az elsoszamu es legnagyobb felhasznalo, a US Marines is regen elengedte mar: kb 10 eve elfogadtak egy upgrade programot, el is kezdtek, majd sebesen rajottek, hogy teljesen remenytelen, penzkidobas lenne, olyan elavult, es gyorsan feladtak: a gyors ACV tender utan 3-4 eve nekialltak lecserelni az osszeset az uj, Iveco-fele SuperAV-re.

Bukott a többmilliárdos román rakétabeszerzési eljárás

Sikertelennek bizonyult a román védelmi tárca által rövid hatótávolságú, hordozható légvédelmi rakétarendszerek vásárlására kiírt közbeszerzési eljárás, ezért vissza kellett vonni.

A tavaly augusztusban kiírt pályázat értelmében Románia legalább 115, legtöbb 231 ilyen, úgynevezett MANPAD rakétarendszert vásárolt volna 3,31 milliárd lej (677,29 millió euró) plusz áfa értékben. A romániai és a külföldi gyártók között közvetítő Romtehnicán keresztül kiírt pályázatot azért kellett visszavonni, mivel kizárólag elfogadhatatlan, vagy a kiírásban megszabott feltételeknek nem megfelelő ajánlatok érkeztek. A pályázati dokumentáció szerint a maximális 231 ilyen rendszer megvásárlása esetén a védelmi tárca kiegészítő berendezéseket is vásárolna, amelyek 87 kiképzési rendszerből, 19 mobil ellenőrző állomásból és 23 hibafeltáró kiegészítő berendezésből állnának, emellett 66 harci szintű karbantartó felszerelést, 20 középszintű karbantartó felszerelést, 87 kiképzési eszközt, egy intézményi kiképzési szimulátort, 10 műveleti tesztrakétát, 148 C2 interfészt, egy intézményi kiképzési anyagot és egy logisztikai támogatási csomagot is beszerzett volna. Ezek az árak különben honnan vannak? Mert Észtország 3 ilyen Sandown hajót vett 2008-ban 35M fontért. Majd most modernizálja őket további 30M-ért.
Ez a 150M-s tétel 2 hajóra erősen túlárazottnak tűnik.
Watchkeeper X -ből nem 21-et vesznek 410M-ért, hanem csak 7-et! És arra is csak tavaly decemberben írtak alá keretszerződést. A tényleges vásárlás meg csak 180M-ért 3db-ról szól egyelőre.
Az IAR-99 esetén az eredeti hírek még 175M-ról szóltak. Jelzem, hogy ebből egyelőre csak 27M ment tényleges modernizációs tételekre az Elbitnek.
A MANPAD beszerzés most bukott el.
Az F-35-ösökről is jött már NAGYBEJELENTÉS, hogy ők biza - a lengyelekhez hasonlóan - venni akarnak F-35-öt. Megrendelés meg még sehol. Tervezik....
Jelenleg a csehek is csak azon lamentálnak, ha 1 óra múlva leadják a megrendelést rá, akkor is csak 2030 után fognak belőle kapni.

Csakhogy az amerikai engedélyben több mint 1M-s darabáre szerepel. 900M-ért biztosan nem fognak 1200db-ot kapni. Pláne, hogy még mindig nincs megrendelés.
A felszíni hajós programjuk jelenleg a Comic Con biztos résztvevője - fantasy kategóriában. Na arra részben van szerződés, csak nincs aki legyártsa ezeket a hajókat.
