Indonesia to buy another six T-50i jets
Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) announced on Jul. 20 that Indonesia has decided to take up a follow on order for six T-50i advanced jet trainers.
The deal is worth approximately $238 million and includes a maintainence package.

Korea Aerospace wins $360m maintenance deal in Iraq
Korea Aerospace Industries Co. (KAI), South Korea's sole aircraft manufacturer, said Monday it has received a US$360 million repair and maintenance deal for trainer jets in Iraq.
In the three-year deal signed with the Iraqi defense ministry, KAI will provide repair and maintenance services for the T-50IQ advanced trainer jets operated by the Iraqi air force as well as training programs for pilots and engineers, the company said in a statement.
KAI exported 24 T-50IQ trainer jets to Iraq in 2013.
The company has exported a total of 156 KT-1 basic and T-50 advanced trainer jets to seven countries in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
It is now looking to markets such as Malaysia, Columbia, Senegal, North America and the Oceania region in its export diversification strategy, the statement said.

The report puts Malaysia’s contract to be worth $197 million and Senegal order could be worth $147 million. The investment company has factored in sales success into its 2023 earnings forecasts of KAI. Both orders are for the FA-50.

Az Iraki Légierő 24 T-50IQ változatú repülőgépet kapott a 2013 decemberében aláírt szerződés alapján, az elsőt 2017-ben szállították le. Dzsuma Inad iraki védelmi miniszter egy 2021 augusztusában adott televíziós interjúban azt mondta, hogy a repülőgépeket finanszírozási problémák miatt soha nem használták.
