Ha Svédországban lenne szólásszabadság (mint az USA-ban), a kormány ezért nem lenne hibáztatható. Mondhatnák, hogy "nálunk szólásszabadság van, nem tilthatjuk be ezt". A muszlimok akkor is háborognának persze. Itt viszont kifejezetten engedélyt adtak a hatóságok erre annak ellenére, hogy Svédországban gyűlöletbeszéd-törvények vannak.

Lásd Ukrajna, amikor a nyugati politikusok rendszeresen úgy nyilatkoznak, mint akik hadviselő felek, bár hivatalosan nem azok. Kormányszervek hivatalos honlapjukon, tweetjeiken ukrán zászlócska stb.

Bocs, kifutottam a szerkesztési időből. Mivel a nyugati kormányok sem tartják tiszteletben mások belügyeit, nincs okuk háborogni, ha ez visszafele is megy.
Másrészt nagyon jól tudják, hogyan reagálnak a muszlimok az ilyen Korán-égetésekre. Tehát, ha engedélyezik a Korán elégetését - miközben más csoportok védelmet élveznek, gondoljunk csak arra, engedélyeznék-e a Talmud elégetését Stockholmban -, akkor mi más lehet ennek a célja, mint a provokáció?

A crisis meeting of ministers convened by President Macron is starting shortly as the country is being rocked by protests which have been going on since Tuesday.

Ezzel csak az a gond hogy néhány nap és egy kis ejnye-bejnye után mindegyik szabadon távozik és újra kezdi. Így megy ez itt évek óta.

In the last few minutes, President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne and government ministers arrived for an emergency meeting in Paris after three nights of riots across France.

As the meeting got under way, Macron announced that
492 buildings were damaged,
2,000 vehicles were burned and
3,880 fires were started last night, AFP news agency reports.

In the southern city of Marseille, public demonstrations have been banned today after last night's protests across France.
All public transport in Marseille, the country's second-largest city, will also stop as of 19:00 local time tonight, according to local authorities.

Klasszikus terelés a részükről, avagy persze, hogy egyszerűbb az autósokat folytonosan baszogatni (honnan is ismerős ez?), mint a valós problémákkal foglalkozni.

Mondjuk legalább a tulaj perelhet és nem valami agysebész után kell katatnia, aki az elnyomó intézményesített rasszizmus(trade mark) elleni tüntetés jegyében felgyújtotta a bömmert

Current situation unacceptable and unjustifiable - Macron​


In a short statement, President Macron said Nahel's death had been instrumentalised, denouncing the "unacceptable exploitation of the adolescent's death".
He condemned the recent violence "with the greatest firmess", adding the current situation was "unacceptable and unjustifiable".
He did not announce a state of emergency, but outlined a series of measures to try to quell the recent violence.

Macron outlines measures to stop violence​

In his statement, President Macron also said that:
  • more police would be deployed on the streets
  • parents should keep their children at home, saying it was not the responsibility of the state, but that of parents to keep their children off away from the riots
  • social networks had their part to play in inflaming violence, by facilitating the organisation of protests and leading to violence being repeated; and there would be requests for the "most sensitive" content to be removed

How do deaths involving police in France compare with other countries?​

In 2021, there were 37 deaths during police operations in France, 10 of whom were shot dead, according to the latest report from the police regulator IGPN.
That figure puts France at about 0.5 deaths per million people.
Countries tend to report these figures differently, so it's difficult to compare. For example, there is a question of whether the death occurred during the operation or after it.
But it's definitely considerably lower than the USA, where the figure was about 3.5 per million
and Canada where it was about 1.5.
And it’s higher than England and Wales, where there were
two fatal police shootings and 11 deaths in or following police custody in 2021-22. That is about 0.2 deaths per million.
