She was surrendered to the Allies at the end of the war and used to repatriate Japanese troops until she was scrapped in 1946.

Az Unryū-osztályú repülőgép hordozó, az Aso roncsa 1945-ben. Csak 60 százalékban készült el, de súlyos sérüléseket szenvedett légitámadásokban. Lebontásra került.
