Ha már ez a fregatt osztály, a Francia tengerészetnek szánt fregattok gyengébb képességüek lesznek, penzhiany miatt, leginkább az elektronikai harc/elektronika terén.

A Le Télégramme szerint az Amiral Ronarch fregatt, amelyet Lorientban építenek a francia haditengerészet számára, "rosszindulatú cselekmény célpontjává vált". A hajó belsejében elhelyezett számos kábelt elvágták és leszakították. Hasonló incidens történt a hónap elején a HMS Glasgow brit fregatton, amelyet a skóciai Scotstone hajógyárban építenek. A jelzett események kapcsán mindkét hajón felfüggesztették a munkát.
