Több tényező függvénye. Vannak ritkán tesztek amikor mindent is rögzítenek a fedélzeteken, és olyankor egy Nimitz osztályúnak 30csomóval 1km a forduló kör. Időben ez pár perc lehet.

A kínai hajók eleve kisebbek, és alacsonyabb sebességgel fordulva ez még szűkebb is lehet.
