Hogy lehet ennyi túlélő? Azt hittem, egy szuperdreadnought nehézágyúja jobban szétszed egy ilyen izét.
Ja várjunk, nem voltak ott dreadnaughtok. Akkor szerencsések. Mert amúgy már rég tűzparanccsal cirkáló hadihajóknak kellene szétlőni ezeket

What might have happened to the missing vessel?
Prof Alistair Greig from University College London is an expert on submarines. He has worked through a number of scenarios for where the missing submersible might be.
One is that it released a “drop weight” after an emergency, in order to bring it to the surface.
“If there was a power failure and or communication failure, this might have happened, and the submersible would then be bobbing about on the surface waiting to be found."
Another scenario, he says, is that the hull was compromised resulting in a leak. “Then the prognosis is not good.”
If it has gone down to the seabed and can’t get back up under its own power, the options - according to Prof Greig - are very limited.
“While the submersible might still be intact, if it is deeper than more than 200m (656ft) there are very few vessels that can get that deep, and certainly not divers.
“The vehicles designed for navy submarine rescue certainly can’t get down to anywhere near the depth of the Titanic.
"And even if they could, I very much doubt that they could attach to the hatch of the tourist submersible.”

- A jármű soha nem ment át semmiféle külső teszten vagy hitelesítésen, jóllehet az iparág szereplői ezt önkéntes alapon mindig megteszik.
- A dolog oka az, hogy a Titan hajtóteste teljesen egyedi, újító eljárással, két eltérő fizikai tulajdonságokkal bíró anyagból, karbonszövetből és titánból készül.
- A tulajdonos OceanGate azzal érvelt a hitelesítés elmaradása mellett, hogy a tesztelési folyamat évekig is elhúzódhat, ami az igazi innováció akadálya. És azzal, hogy élesben jobb tesztelni.
- az iparág 38 szereplője 2018-ban levélben figyelmeztette a fizető utasaival együtt most eltűnt cégtulajdonost.
Ilyen időtartamra én sem - nem bírom sokáig a kényelmetlen pózokat :/Ha nekem fizettek volna, akkor sem ültem volna bele ebbe a lélekvesztőbe...
Kevesebb, mint 20h oxigénük van, a franciák Victor ROV-ja már ott van, 2h alatt merüléskész,

Itt is eltelt csomó idő, mire egyáltalán elismerte a cég, hogy elvesztették a kapcsolatot
5 USCG hajó van a helyszínen, 2 ROV már keres.
Reggelre még befut pár ROV 24h belül még 5 USCG hajó. De akkor már nagyon ketyegni fog az óra :/

"There are a lot of factors you have to consider. After considering all those factors, sometimes you're in a position where you have to make a tough decision. We're not there yet.
"If we continue to search, potentially we could be at that point... And that's a discussion we will have with the families long before I am going to discuss here publicly."

"We have to, at this point, assume that that's the submarine and move quickly to that spot, locate it and get robots down there to verify that is where the submarine is," he said.
"They've got to go fully ready as if that was the sub because to locate it and get it up to the surface - it takes hours."
