A CZUB, a Colt CZ Group tagja bemutatta az új CZ BREN 3 gépkarabélyt. A CZ BREN 3 két standard kaliberben és többféle hordóhosszban érkezik. Az 5,56 × 45-ös NATO kaliberű változat 7", 11", 14,5" vagy 16,5"-es hordóval kapható. A 300 AAC Blackout kaliberű változat 7" vagy 9"-es hordóval kapható. A teljesen kétkezes, AR-stílusú kezelőszervek közé tartozik a 45°-os tüzelési mód választó, a tárkioldó és a csavarzár/kioldó. A nem kölcsönös töltő fogantyú a lőfegyver mindkét oldalán található. Az egyik oldalon fix fogantyú, a másik oldalon összecsukható fogantyú található, mindkét fogantyú cserélhető. Az égési gáz elszívása három állású gáznyílás-szabályozóval állítható. A CZ BREN 3 összecsukható, négyállású teleszkópos készlettel van felszerelve, PDW-stílusú négyállású teleszkópos készlet is elérhető. A meghosszabbított elülső rész könnyen cserélhető. A felhasználó választhat a STANAG 4694 vagy a Suppressor-Ready előlap közül is – ez utóbbit a szupresszor felszerelésére méretezték.
