Denmark has finalised an agreement with BAE Systems Hägglunds to purchase 115 CV90 combat vehicles, in a deal valued at DKK 9.975 billion (EUR 1.35 billion)

The Danish combat vehicles will be of the CV9035 Mk IIIC model, the same version recently ordered by Sweden to replace vehicles donated to Ukraine.

Denmark first ordered CV90 combat vehicles (44) in 2005 and has since deployed them in Afghanistan. In March, BAE Systems signed a 15-year framework agreement with the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), worth approximately USD 400 million, for the repair and maintenance of Denmark’s CV90 fleet.

Netherlands : Modification of ammunition programming unit CV90

This concerns the modification of 150 pieces, of which 25 are optional, ammunition programming units (hereafter: the MPE + TA30) for the CV9035NL (hereafter: the CV90). The current type, the MPE + TA3O, is obsolete and can no longer be purchased new. It is possible to modify this to the new standard. The intended contract partner for the modification is BAE Systems Hagglunds AB, the supplier and Original Equipment Manufacturer (hereafter: the OEM) of the weapon system. As an OEM, BAE Systems Hgglunds AB is the only one that has the required knowledge, skills and system responsibility to carry out the modification of complex military equipment.

The value of all contracts awarded in the notice is SEK 200,788,802.00 (~17 597 223,04 EUR)

Defense awarded the framework contract on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. Defense has determined the most economically advantageous tender based on the lowest price.
