Together with our key partners at VEX - Hungarian Defence Export Agency Ltd., we recently engaged with leading Turkish defense and technology stakeholders to explore potential areas of cooperation and strengthen our strategic ties.
These exchanges focused on innovation, R&D collaboration, and strategic projects, building long-term cooperation between the Hungarian and Turkish industries.
️ A highlight of the visit was the official reception held at the Residence of the Embassy of Türkiye, hosted by H.E. Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Hungary.
We are deeply honored by the high-level diplomatic hospitality, where both Ambassador Ekşioğlu and Deputy State Secretary Szabolcs S. delivered inspiring speeches emphasizing our shared vision and strategic partnership.
During the event, through three keynote addresses, Bernadett Kovacs, Head of International Relations and Business Development at VEX, presented the Hungarian defence and space industry ecosystem, outlining forward-looking strategic goals for modern warfare, space technology, and the innovative space economy — showcasing the growing synergy between innovation and security.
The Hungarian delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Defence (HM), the Ministry for National Economy (NGM), HM EI Zrt., and VIKI, alongside VEX – Hungarian Defence Export Agency Ltd., N7 Holding, and 4iG Nyrt..
On the Turkish side, we were privileged to engage with key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Industry and Technology (MOIT), Polat Holding, and Nurol Makina, among others.
By identifying synergies and exploring cooperative opportunities, we aim to foster technological advancement, resilience, and shared strategic goals — contributing to a stronger, more innovative, and future-ready partnership between Hungary and Türkiye.
