Deputy Prime Minister
@KosiniakKamysz
is at the 3rd Warsaw Rocket Brigade OP, where he is participating in an event concerning the achievement of full operational readiness of the 37th Air Defense Rocket Squadron for inclusion in the national and allied air defense system.
Achieving by the entire 37th Air Defense Missile Squadron of the 3rd Warsaw Air Defense Missile Brigade full operational capability (Full Operational Capability) is the culmination of the implementation process of the first phase of the WISŁA program. In December this year, the squadron was checked in terms of combat training to carry out tasks within its operational designation. During the training, the combat systems in the area of command and strike were verified.
The implementation of the WISŁA program ensures the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland have capabilities that serve as a response to the threats of the contemporary battlefield. It not only enables the conduct of integrated air defense and missile defense for designated critical infrastructure facilities against air attack means such as ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and aviation, but also translates into interoperability with the armed forces of other North Atlantic Alliance member states.
