"President Petro Poroshenko during his participation in the Freedom of Speech program emphasized: “Seizing Mariupol and smashing the road by land to Crimea has always been a priority for the ‘Russian world’ strategists. The intelligence has constantly confirmed that”.
The Head of State reminded that immediately after the liberation of Mariupol in 2014, he met with local residents of Mariupol. “The main question was: ‘You will not leave us, will you?’. I said that I will stand side by side with them,” he said.
The next time, when in January 2015 civilian blocks of Mariupol were shelled by MLRS Grad and many civilians, including children, perished, the President also came to Mariupol. “And I said that we will stop the offensive. We have concentrated a sufficient number of units of the Armed Forces there and are not going to give up the Ukrainian land. Were there miners, trade unions who shelled us from volley fire systems? Were there farmers who killed Ukrainians? No. Those were the regular armed forces of the Russian Federation,” the Head of State emphasized.
“We will not tolerate the illegal capture of Ukrainian and foreign ships moving towards Ukrainian ports, including Mariupol, aimed to stop the mining and smelting complex operating in the Donbas,” the President said, answering the question on the situation in the Kerch Strait and the Sea of Azov, where Russians have drastically increased the number of search of Ukrainian vessels.
The President provided the necessary orders to the Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff, Commander of the Naval Forces to take sufficient measures to stop the violation of the law and Russian provocations during the passage through the Ukrainian Kerch Strait, as well as to stop the attacks using seized and illegally annexed Crimea with the illegally positioned Black Sea fleet in seized Sevastopol.
“We will not tolerate this. If we, Ukrainians, do not protect our land, nobody will protect it,” he stressed.
Azt lehet mondani, hogy Mariupolnál a helyzet fokozódik.
Nagyon feszült helyzet alakult ki, miután már nem csak a teljes áthaladást az oroszok ellenőrzik a Kercsi szorosnál, hanem az oroszok gyakorlatilag minden áthaladó hajót ellenőriznek + minden az Azovi-tengeren belüli Ukrán mozgást kontrollálnak. Az Oroszoknak gyakorlatilag önálló (de nem az) hadiflottája van az Azovi tengeren jelenleg. Vélhetően még a járőrhajóikat is teletömték fegyverrel és többszörös lőszer mennyiséggel - de a legijesztőbb az Ukránok számára a "kis rakétás hajók"...Lényegében az Ukránok beszorultak Mariupol és Bergyanszk kikötőjébe. De számukra nem ez a legnagyobb baj, hanem mindaz ami ebből (is) következik.
Az elmúlt napokban több cikket olvastam arról, hogy Mariupol miatt nagyon félhetnek az Ukránok, mert gyakorlatilag egy puskalövés nélkül DNR-hez kerülhet. Mariupol nagyjából az acéliparából él. A kész acéltermékeket pedig tengeren szállítják el onnan. Vasúton vagy közúton nem igazán kivitelezhető (főleg a nemzetközi szállításoknak nem lenne úgy értelme) ugyanis hatalmas tömegekről, súlyról lehet beszélni. Gyakorlatilag Mariupol teljesen el van szigetelve földrajzilag, és a vasútvonalát könnyen meg lehet bénítani, a közutak meg olyan Ukrajnai közutak. Gyakorlatilag marad a tengeri szállítás. Ha az viszont ellehetetlenül, akkor leáll az acélgyártás, az acél szállítása... Amiután meg leállnak a gyárak. Ami meg hatalmas társadalmi feszültséghez és eltörölhetetlen elégedetlenséghez fog gyakorlatilag minden vélemény szerint vezetni. (Amúgy is magában forr csendesen a térség, Porosenkoék a lkegkisebb mértékben sem élveznek ott támogatottságot, a bányászok és az acélmunkások meg ugye nem a lányos szelídségükről ismeretesek - és már Hofi is megfogalmazta:" A lé határozza meg a tudatot")
Mindezeken felül Porosenko a szavakon kívül az évvilágon semmit nem tud küldeni az Azovi tengerre. Egyrészt mert nincs mit, másrészt mert nem tudná bevinni. Ezen kívül nem véletlenül próbálták már lezárni sikertelenül Porosenkoék Bergyanszktól az orosz határig a tengerpartot, mert teljesen kizárt, hogy nem került már hatalmas mennyiségű fegyver eddig is Mariupolba a szakiktól (esetleg az oroszoktól is) De elég az is, ha csak pár teherautó fegyver megjelenik a környéken DNR-ből adott esetben, tízezres fegyveres is lehet ott órák alatt...
Ezt pedig semmivel nem tudják az elszigetelt Mariupolban ellensúlyozni Porosenkoék.
