Cvičení sil rychlé reakce NATO Noble Jump na Sardinii se účastnili i Norové s bojovými vozidly pěchoty CV90, o jejichž nákupu se nyní rozhoduje. A také s tanky Leopard 2A4, tedy verzí, kterou dostáváme od Němců. Novinky o nich mluvily s velitelem norské severní brigády generálem Pålem Berglundem.

Athozom ide - apropo, milyen ujdonsagok varhatoak a 2A8-on, mondjuk a 2A7HU-hoz kepest, eddig mit lehet tudni, mondjuk legalabb bullet points szintjen?
Amennyit olvastam, hogy új motor, meg a torony átalakítva, hogy az AP-st értelmesen fogadja, olvasgatni a neten automata töltőről is, de rosseb tudja igaz-e.
Új parancsnoki optika és lövegirányzék, új tűzvezető rendszer.

Eredetileg tervben volt, de a Nexter felhördült erre, szóval ha kitolják, akkor esélyesen a KNDS le is zárja az amúgy sem felhőtlen együttműködést.

A Nexter meg a KNDS ugyanaz - a KNDS a Nexter es a KMW merger eredmenye, nincs mit lezarni.
Ha csak az 'euroleopardra' gondolsz, akkor az meg kb halva szuletett otlet volt eleve...

2It was planned that the new Leopard 2A8 tanks for the German army will be newly-built, rather than upgraded from existing hulls. These will be equipped with Trophy active protection system. It is also fitted with a new engine.
Interestingly the Leopard 2A8 uses a Rheinmetall 120 mm/L55 smoothbore gun. The gun is loaded manually. It is compatible with all standard NATO 120 mm tank ammunition. It can also use DM11 programmable HE rounds. These programmable multi-purpose munitions enable to engage targets behind cover and within buildings, but are also effective against armored vehicles.
Information about the secondary armament has not been disclosed, but it is believed that the Leopard 2A8 will use a coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun and a remotely-controlled weapon station with a 12.7 mm machine gun.
It was announced that the Leopard 2A8 version will have a further increased armor protection. The tank reportedly uses multi-layered armor of new generation. It is made of steel, tungsten, composite filler and ceramic components. Add-on passive armor kit is fitted. Mine protection and protection of the turret roof were increased. The tank is equipped with a version of the Israeli Trophy active protection system. It is also referred as the EuroTrophy.2

Ezzel elhallgattatjak a sok karogo brittont, aki szerint az osoreg, bena Challenger 2 az jobb, mer' vastagabb... kerdes, az amugy kifejezetten mobil L2 mennyit fog lassulni az extra armortol, bar szerintem pont emiatt kap uj motort, hogy a sok uj cuccot meg armort ugyanugy forgassa...
1600 lovasnak írják az új motort.Ezzel elhallgattatjak a sok karogo brittont, aki szerint az osoreg, bena Challenger 2 az jobb, mer' vastagabb... kerdes, az amugy kifejezetten mobil L2 mennyit fog lassulni az extra armortol, bar szerintem pont emiatt kap uj motort, hogy a sok uj cuccot meg armort ugyanugy forgassa...
Az A7HU-n az van, elvileg az A8-on is az lesz, csak a németek mostanijához képest új. Aztán a rosseb tudja mi lesz ebben meg mi nem egyelőre.

A Cseh Köztársaság miniszteri kabinetje felhatalmazta Yana Chernokhova védelmi minisztert, hogy tárgyaljon a Németország által tervezett új 2A8-as verziójú Leopard harckocsik vásárlásának lehetőségéről.

Csehország mintegy 70 harckocsi vásárlásáról tárgyal majd Németországgal, a megrendelés mintegy 10 milliárd cseh koronába (több mint 420 millió euróba) kerül.
Azért az elgondolkodtató, hogy Csehország Európa közepén 70 db Leo2A8-t akar vásárolni mi pedig 48 db Leo2A7-t vettünk...
