Saab receives order from NATO for RBS 70 Bolide missiles...

The order value amounts to SEK 350 million and deliveries will take place during 2027.

The RBS 70 system has an installed base in more than 19 countries, with 1,600 RBS 70 systems and more than 18,000 missiles delivered. The Bolide missile is the 3rd generation, all-target, short-range air defence missile from Saab. With the Bolide missile, the RBS 70 system targets a complete threat spectrum: from fixed and rotary wing aircraft, down to small targets such as cruise missiles and UAVs, with a range of more than 9 kilometres and with altitude coverage in excess of 5,000 metres.

Saab receives order for RBS 70 NG from Canada...

Saab has received an order from the Government of Canada for the short-range air defence system RBS 70 NG. The order value is approximately CAD 227 million (SEK 1.8 billion) with deliveries starting during 2024.

The order includes all necessary equipment to operate the RBS 70 NG, including firing units, missiles, transport vehicles, training and support. Following a competitive procurement process, Saab’s offer was chosen to meet the urgent operational requirement for Canada’s Soldier Portable Air Defence System Program. Through this programme, Saab will provide long term air defence support to the Canadian Armed Forces, with a specific focus on their Enhanced Forward Presence in Latvia. As part of its offer, Saab has committed to creating Canadian content through its local office and Canada-based partners and suppliers.

Saab has received an additional order from Lithuania for the Mobile Short-Range Air Defence (MSHORAD) solution. The order value is SEK 1.2 billion and deliveries are scheduled 2026-2029.

The order includes Mobile Firing Units, Mobile Radar Units and a Command- and Control (C2) system. Saab will integrate MSHORAD into JLTV vehicles manufactured by the U.S. company Oshkosh before delivery to the customer.

 
Saab receives order for RBS 70 NG from Latvia

Saab has signed a framework agreement with the Latvian Ministry of Defence for the short-range ground-based air defence system RBS 70 NG and received an order within the agreement. The order value is SEK 2.1 billion and deliveries will take place 2026-2030.
The order includes RBS 70 NG firing units and missiles as well as trainer units.
 
Saab has received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the mobile short-range air defence solution RBS 70 NG with missiles.

The order value is approximately SEK 1.5 billion and deliveries are scheduled 2027-2028. This order was booked in Q2 2025.
