A Nemzetvédelmi Minisztérium október 1-jén jelentette be a harmadik kölcsönszerződés megkötését az Egyesült Államokkal. Ezúttal 3,08 milliárd USD értékű, és 96 darab Boeing AH-64E Apache harci helikopter vásárlásának finanszírozására szolgál.

The new loan means that in total the United States has granted Poland loans worth USD 7.08 billion. Similarly to the previous ones, we are talking about the use of the FMF procedure - they are offered to close partners of the United States, and in the case of Poland, activities supporting the fighting Ukraine are also an important element. As the Polish authorities emphasize, American loan offers are very favorable in terms of financial conditions - however, the key element is the possibility of using them for the purchase of military equipment or services in the United States (51% of the contract value).
