Olvastam valahol valami számítást hány milliárdba került nekik egy sor dolgot áttervezni emiatt a dezertálás miatt (főleg hogy B. vitt magával egy rahedli titkos doksit is).
Végül is kényszer hozza a leggyorsabb fejlesztést....

The United States Department of Defense (DoD) has contracted Lockheed Martin to conduct aircraft carrier trials of its F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) for potential international operators.

To date, the US Marine Corps (USMC), United Kingdom Royal Navy (RN) and Royal Air Force (RAF), and Italian Navy (Marina Militare Italiana: MMI) have procured the F-35B to equip their respective amphibious assault ships and aircraft carriers, while current F-35A customers, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Spain, and South Korea, have all expressed interest in the STOVL jet’s carrier capabilities over recent years, as had Turkey before it was disbarred from the wider JSF programme.

Nemcsak a pilótáknak, hanem ezeknek is nagy szerencséjük volt!! :D;) Ha csak egy kicsit is jobb az F-35 siklószáma, akkor őket is eltörölte volna a sivatagból!!

Hát a pilóta bolond lett volna megvárni az utolsó 50 métert is, biztos nem akarta tesztelni a katapultülés minimális magasságú képességeit! :eek:;)
A légitankolás és így az ütközés is kb. 5-7000m-en történhetett. Nyilván ahogy kiderült számára hogy ezzel a sérült géppel nem jut messzire, gondolom lejelentette rádión hogy kb. merre keressék, aztán kattintott.

The Government of Switzerland requested to buy up to forty (40) F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Conventional Take Off and Landing (CTOL) aircraft; forty-six (46) Pratt & Whitney F-135 engines; forty (40) Sidewinder AIM-9X Block II+ (Plus) Tactical Missiles; fifty (50) Sidewinder AIM-9X Block II Captive Air Training Missiles (CATMs); six (6) Sidewinder AIM-9X Block II Special Air Training Missiles (NATMS); four (4) Sidewinder AIM-9X Block II Tactical Guidance Units; ten (10) Sidewinder AIM-9X Block II CATM Guidance Units; eighteen (18) KMU-572 JDAM Guidance Kits for GBU-54; twelve (12) Bomb MK-82 500LB, General Purpose; twelve (12) Bomb MK-82, Inert; twelve (12) GBU-53/B Small Diameter Bomb II (SDB II) All-Up Round (AUR); and eight (8) GBU-53/B SDB II Guided Test Vehicle (GTV).
