According to an interview conducted by Eurodefence with BaainBw's Brig. Gen. J. Schmidt, the Boxer anti-drone variant (shooting down micro-UAS with 40 mm grenades) still hasn't been delivered due to supply chain issues with Kongsberg's RWS. Roll-out has been postponed to 2024.

GTK Boxer páncélozott személyszállító (8x8) távirányítós „Protector RT60” harci modullal a norvég „Kongsberg” csoporttól.

A modul egy 30 mm-es Northrop Grumman XM813 automata ágyúval van felszerelve koaxiális 7,62 mm-es géppuskával, valamint egy emelhető kéttöltéses ATGM kilövővel.

A modul tetejére egy Thales Catherine hőkamerán alapuló, 12,7 mm-es géppuskával felfegyverzett, panorámás irányzékkal ellátott, távirányítós harci modult szereltek fel.

The shareholders of ARTEC GmbH (Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V.) have elected to set up a new subsidiary in the United Kingdom, ARTEC Boxer UK Ltd.

The company will be a wholly owned subsidiary of ARTEC GmbH and assume responsibility for its operational activities in the UK. These include providing the British Army with service and maintenance support for the Boxer armoured transport vehicle. Furthermore, ARTEC Boxer UK Ltd. will pursue export orders.

The company’s operational goals include growing its market share in the UK service sector as well as gaining ground in the global market for highly protected 8x8 vehicles.

The agreement to create ARTEC Boxer UK Ltd was signed during the DSEI defence show in London.
