Máshol úgy írják hogy "18 Missiles for Gripen aircraft".
Egy 2006-os cikkben az írják hogy év végére megérkeznek az AIM-9-esek is.
A 2007-es kecskeméti repülőnapon már gyakorló rakétákkal volt kiállítva a Gripen. (Így valószínűleg nem gyakorló rakétákat vettek 2008-ban.)
2008 nyarán volt a Légi fölény 2008, amikor éles rakétaindítások voltak Svédországban (legalább 3-4 rakéta a saját készletből volt, a többi svéd volt)
2008 decemberétől van Gripen készültség.
Mennyi lehetett az első AIM-9 szállítmány, ha még vettek hozzá 18 db-ot? Mert remélem, hogy nem ez az összes.
Vagy 18 db ASRAAM-ot rejtegetnek valahol 14 éve, mert kiderült hogy mégsem függeszthető/alkalmazható a Gripenen?
(Az ASRAAM-on nincs rolleron. 2007-ben kezdtek pedig már elkezdtek riogatni a cseh tapasztalatok alapján (C verzió törzse - C verzió szárnya) hogy probléma lesz az AIM-9-cel.)

Fogalmam sincs nem vagyok villamosmérnök és 0 egzakt adat van a radarról.
De anno az iráni F-14-esekből is kiszereltek egyes blokkokat távozáskor a jenkik. A radarok működőképesek maradtak, de valamilyen funkciót sanszosan vesztettek.

Valahol pedig volt külföldi forrás is, ami említette a radarokat. Azért indult a találgatás, hogy akkor biztos NASAMS lesz

“In Hungary we just don’t have large numbers of aircraft to train with, but in Spring Flag we faced COMAO (combined air operations) packages of 20, 25 or 30 aircraft. The training value for us was to work with that many aircraft on our radar – and even with our limited experience we could see that the Gripen radar is fantastic. We would see the others at long ranges, we could discriminate all the individual aircraft even in tight formations and using extended modes. The jamming had almost no effect on us – and that surprised a lot of people.
Other aircraft couldn’t see us – not on radar, not visually[3] – and we had no jammers of our own with us. We got one Fox 2 kill[4] on a F-16 who turned in between our two jets but never saw the second guy and it was a perfect shot.
Our weapons and tactics were limited by Red Force rules, and in an exercise like this the Red Force is always supposed to die, but even without our AMRAAMs and data links we got eight or 10 kills, including a Typhoon. Often we had no AWACS or radar support of any kind, just our regular onboard sensors – but flying like that, ‘free hunting,’ we got three kills in one afternoon. It was a pretty good experience for our first time out.”

Ez erősen egybevág azzal, amit az svéd expilóta nyilatkozott a Gripen vs. F-16-os szimulált harcról.
És még erről a "fantasztikus" Gripen-radarról is azt mondta egyik pilóta a szoftver-frissítés után: el nem tudták volna korábban képzelni, hogy fizikai beavatkozás, a radar modernizálása nélkül EKKORA!! (nagyon kihangsúlyozta!!) teljesítmény-növelést el lehet érni!! Mikor konkrétan rákérdeztünk hogy lehet-e ezt az "EKKORA"-t számszerűsíteni, részletezni, akkor csak jóízűen vigyorgott egyet a pilóta és azt mondta:
- "Persze hogy mi tudjuk számszerűsíteni, de erről ennél többet inkább nem beszélnék!".
Persze ez egy az első gyakorlatok közül, lehet "aládimenzáltak" minket, mi meg nagyon igyekeztünk és meglepire erősen szétcsaptuk az "jófiúkat"...,de azt jól jellemzi, hogy igen is lehet eredményes közelharcot vivni Gripennel sokkal potensebb tipusok ellen is.
Nekem erre, - a Gripenbe csücsülve - még csalafintább kitérő választ adtak
