[HUN] Saab JAS-39EBS-HU Gripen

    --- VÁLTOZÁS A MODERÁLÁSBAN ---

A források, hírek preferáltak.

Major Defense Equipment: $320 million
One hundred eighty (180) AIM-120C-7 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles(AMRAAM)
Four (4) Spare AIM-120C-7 AMRAAM Guidance Sections

Other: $180 million
Also included are four (4) spare AIM-120C-7 control sections, six (6) AMRAAM training missiles (CATM-120C), missile containers, classified software (for the AN/MPQ-64F1 Sentinel Radar requested by Hungary through Direct Commercial Sale), spare and repair parts, cryptographic and communication security devices, precision navigation equipment, other software, site surveys, weapons system equipment and computer software support, publications and technical documentation, common munitions and test equipment, repair and return services and equipment, personnel training and training equipment, integration support and test equipment, and U.S. Government and contractor, engineering, technical and logistics support services, and other related elements of logistical and program support.

Major Defense Equipment: $320 million
Other: $180 million
TOTAL $500 million

"Although designed as an air-to-air missile, the AMRAAM can also be employed in a surface-launch mode when integrated on systems such as the National Advanced Surface-to-Air System (NASAMS). The AIM-120C7, as employed on NASAMS, protects national assets from imminent hostile air threats. The AMRAAM All Up Round is classified CONFIDENTIAL, major components and subsystems range from UNCLASSIFIED to CONFIDENTIAL, and technology data and other documentation are classified up to SECRET.

The classified radar operational software utilized with the exportable AN/MPQ-4F1 Sentinel Radar contains specific Electronic Counter-Counter Measures (ECCM) capability, but it does not contain Non-Cooperative Target Recognition (NCTR)/classification capabilities. This software will only be released for export in an executable format with no source code. Without source code, the ability of a foreign entity to analyze the operating software, its processes, and its algorithms is slowed. The highest classification of this software is SECRET.

If a technologically advanced adversary were to obtain knowledge of the specific hardware and software elements, the information could be used to develop countermeasures or equivalent systems which might reduce weapon system effectiveness or be used in the development of a system with similar or advanced capabilities."

Valaki, aki ért hozzá, elmagyarázhatná hogy a "it does not contain Non-Cooperative Target Recognition (NCTR)/classification capabilities." az milyen hatással van a NASAMS rendszer képességeire.

A közzétett amerikai kormányzati jóváhagyásban is benne volt ugyanez a mondat : "for the AN/MPQ-64F1 Sentinel Radar requested by Hungary through Direct Commercial Sale" .

Az ismert 2007-es olasz gyakorlat felevenítése az akkori magyar Gripen Képességeiről:

As an example, the Hungarian Air Force described their experiences at Exercise Spring Flag 2007, held in May at Italy’s Decimomannu air base in Sardinia. Other participants included France (E-3 AWACS), Germany (F-4F ICE), Italy (AV-8B Harrier, F-16C, Tornado ECR and Eurofighter Typhoon), NATO (E-3 AWACS), and Turkey (F-16C), with tanker support from Italy, the UK and the US. The Gripen’s 100% sortie rate was impressive, and it also generated some interesting comments from Hungarian Air Force Colonel Nandor Kilian:

“In Hungary we just don’t have large numbers of aircraft to train with, but in Spring Flag we faced COMAO (combined air operations) packages of 20, 25 or 30 aircraft. The training value for us was to work with that many aircraft on our radar – and even with our limited experience we could see that the Gripen radar is fantastic. We would see the others at long ranges, we could discriminate all the individual aircraft even in tight formations and using extended modes. The jamming had almost no effect on us – and that surprised a lot of people.

Other aircraft couldn’t see us – not on radar, not visually[3] – and we had no jammers of our own with us. We got one Fox 2 kill[4] on a F-16 who turned in between our two jets but never saw the second guy and it was a perfect shot.

Our weapons and tactics were limited by Red Force rules, and in an exercise like this the Red Force is always supposed to die, but even without our AMRAAMs and data links we got eight or 10 kills, including a Typhoon. Often we had no AWACS or radar support of any kind, just our regular onboard sensors – but flying like that, ‘free hunting,’ we got three kills in one afternoon. It was a pretty good experience for our first time out.”

Ez erősen egybevág azzal, amit az svéd expilóta nyilatkozott a Gripen vs. F-16-os szimulált harcról. :)

Úgy tűnik, véget is ért a gyakorlat. Pénteken hazajöttek a gépek.
