Erdekes, de ez messze van egy raketavedelmi rendszertol, ezt ok is elismerik:
"To a certain extent, IRIS-T SLM is a derivative of the development IRIS-T SL, which, as an inexpensive missile, should take over the "simpler", non-nuclear-ballistic goals of the German air defense system MEADS. In view of the delays in German political decision-making, Diehl Defense developed the IRIS-T SL into an air defense system that, as an IRIS-T SLM, was already able to attract customers (apart from Germany, who still have not made up their minds). Accordingly, this first series command post is intended for export.
The fully equipped 20-foot shelter, which includes several Diehl fire control computers and Airbus IBMS (Integrated Battle Management System) software, was developed and built in just two and a half years according to Diehl requirements. The command center for mobile 24/7 use does not need more than three people to operate, networked as an integral system component of IRIS-T SLM thanks to plug-and-fight technology sensors such as the mid-range radar from Hensoldt with the starters from Diehl."
